My Approach
I work with adults and adolescents with a wide range of emotional and interpersonal challenges, including but not limited to, trauma, depression, anxiety, learning difficulties, ADHD, relational conflict, existential questions, life transitions, academic challenges, and school avoidance. My passion is career and future planning and I have experience working with both adults and youth in this area.
My aim is to help individuals to identify their strengths, to cope with challenges and to ultimately meet their goals while developing a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.
Through compassionate curiosity, I invite clients to deepen self-awareness and self-reflection in a respectful and empathetic space. I strive to build an authentic therapeutic relationship where actionable steps towards creating positive change are taken while accessing a client’s innate resilience.
I work from an interactive, client-centered, strengths-based approach. Influenced by evidence-based practices, I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based and mind-body integration interventions to support an understanding of self and patterns. I also incorporate the lens of attachment-theory, all with a trauma-informed awareness.
