My Approach

I approach therapy with curiosity, authenticity and warmth, drawing from current evidence while honouring the balance between mind and heart, logic and intuitive wisdom. My style is reflective and engaged with bits of intentional humor. I’m often told that I bring a calm, steady presence into the room, helping people feel seen and more at ease.

We slow things down and make room for your inner world. We process, regulate, and notice patterns. We work to build psychological flexibility and self-trust in a way that feels sustainable. Our work will always be grounded in non-judgment, and I may gently challenge you at times to support meaningful insight and growth.

As a Master of Counselling student completing my practicum at Boundless Heart Counselling Group, I’m working toward earning my professional designation as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC. Outside of my counselling and psychology studies, I’ve worked as a Yoga and meditation teacher for over a decade alongside careers in marketing, hospitality, non-profit and mental health philanthropy.

A little bit about Lucie:

I love spending time with friends, family, and our sassy Husky. Doing my best at martial arts, snowboarding, dance, and fitness classes keeps me humble and moving.

I’m also a big fan of sweet treats, library books, latte art and watching my comfort shows on repeat. As a traveler at heart I’m always up for a change of perspective and a new language to learn.

From a small town in Germany to some beautiful parts of Canada’s east and west coasts, I’ve grown through the experience of living in different parts of the world. Though I spent my childhood in the mountains, I’m very much drawn to the ocean and feel so lucky to be living near both.
